There is Nothing Like a Parker

Ken Parker's understanding of hardwoods and the physical forces involved in guitar playing has been combined with exhaustive research on modern composites, fibers, and acoustic technology to create a new kind of instrument altogether. A guitar with the magic soulfulness of wood, optimized to respond unlike any other guitar in the world to the vibrations of steel strings.

Unique features of Parker Guitars:
  1. Parker's stainless steel frets are epoxied to the fingerboard, so no slots and no fret wear
  2. Parkers have a piezo out for a convincing acoustic sound.  The piezo out is separate from the magnetic pickups, so you can blend the piezo pickups into the sound of the magnetic pickups as desired
  3. Everything about the carved body shape is designed for comfort and light weight, without sacrificing the ‘feel’ a guitar should have.  Parker guitar enthusiasts can stand with their guitar for hours.
  4. USA made guitar, and as expected, Parker's fit and finish is stunning
  5. With the set neck guitars, there is a combination of composite materials and traditional materials used.  The body is actually carved so thin that the wood needs an exoskeleton of carbon fibre  to lend strength to the guitar, this is where the name “FLY” comes from since a fly also has an exoskeleton.  This combination of materials allows for the lightest and strongest guitar available on the market today.  The neck has a traditional truss rod and on either side of the truss, there are carbon fibre rods lending strength and stability to the neck.  Many enthusiast have not needed to adjust the neck of a Parker guitar for years
  6. The bodies are all carved via CNC machines.  (computer controlled routers) for 100% accuracy from guitar to guitar.
  7. Attention to details such as the sponge covered whammy bar and Sperzel locking tuners.  Made from lightweight aluminum, these locking tuners don’t interfere with the balance of the guitar and make changing strings a breeze.  Using a whammy bar does not make the guitar go out of tune since there are no winds on the peg to become re-positioned.  The tremolo on all guitars is the same, wonderfully smooth with no edges to catch your hand on.   The set neck guitars also feature a flat spring system which makes changing string gauges and doing trem tension adjustments simple.  Changing from .009 to .010 is as easy as swapping out the flat spring.
  8. The bolt-ons feature a Radial Neck Joint which allows for better resonance transfer and more consistent alignment between neck and body, plus comfortable access to the top frets.
  9. All USA made Parkers come with a custom fitted hardshell case
