Korg legacy Software, Important NEWS Update (November 9, 2009)
The copy protection method of KORG Legacy Collection series has been changed.
Korg announces that there is a change to the copy protection method for the KORG Legacy Collection series. Korg is switching from the USB Key Copy Protection to the Challenge/Response License Authorization where a unique license code is issued to your computer.
To all KLC series customers, we apologize for any inconvenience associated with this change, and greatly appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
Today, we have released KLC updaters* where you can choose either copy protection method. Please note that we are going to stop providing user support services for the USB Key Copy Protection system effective from April 30, 2010. And from May 2010, any updates we issue will support only the Challenge/Response License Authorization system, not the USB Key Copy Protection system.
We appreciate your continuing support for Korg's KLC series products.

M3 System Version 2.0 and  Upgrade
This download contains the Version 2.0 Operating System update for the M3, which will upgrade your M3 to the M3 XPanded, providing revised PCM, new sequencer functions, an enhanced interface, free expansion PCM sets and new KARMA v2.2 Read more about the M3 XPanded upgrade here.

EX-USB-PCM04 V1 Stereo Piano
This download contains the EX-USB-PCM04 expansion, which is the Stereo Piano PCM and Program data that was originally included in the M3 Version 1 system. It loads into sample RAM of the M3.

Pro Vintage Keys
This collection of 32 classic keyboard sounds was programmed by Jack Hotop to provide more expressive, natural sounding programs, with improved velocity switching (up to 8-way switching!). Constantly referring to classic recordings by top artists across many genres of music, special attention was paid to Controller Modeling for accurate Stereo Panning, Tremolo, Key Off, String Muting, and Tone Control.
Likewise, custom vintage FX assignments like Phase Shifter, Stereo Vintage Wah, Flanging, Stereo Tube PreAmp, Distortion, Ring Mod, Tape Echo, Reverb & more were designed to get the classic settings heard on the recordings that shaped the legacy of these timeless instruments.
Pad assignments, KARMA & Drum Track grooves are provided for every sound.
Two versions for the M3 Xpanded are provided:
• Regular uses G000 through U-G031
• If you want to load PCM-04 Option at the same time we have provided a “merged” version that loads these sounds into U-G027 through U-G058
Both PCG and Editor files are provided. For the Editor file you must select a BANK File, not an ALL file to be able to load them. This way you can load a complete single Bank rather than the whole state of your keyboard. For more info read the manual that came with your editor file.

*** The above M3 files require version 2.0 or higher.
Important Note: This upgrade will rewrite the contents of the internal data such as the programs and combinations. If the internal memory of your M3 contains important data that you want to keep, you must use the Media mode Save .PCG command to save it on your own USB storage device before you can proceed with this upgrade procedure. Any custom combis will have to be saved before the upgrade and then re-built after the upgrade is completed. This update will also overwrite the data of effect presets P01 P15. If you've created effect presets, you should save them to U00 U15 before you proceed with the upgrade. When programs/combinations that were saved by M3 version 1 are loaded into the M3 XPANDED, some sounds may not be completely identical.

This "zipped" download contains the most current Version 1.1.0 Operating System update for the M50, which addresses a few small bugs as well as improvements in functionality, including 700 effect presets, which are also featured in the M3 Xpanded.

Note: There are two versions of this update available: 88 key and 61 key, be sure to select the correct version for you.

 NEW AudioGate V1.5 software
This new version of AudioGate software works with all the MR recorders, the MR-1, MR-1000 and new MR 2000S.
New enhancements include the ability to adjust the left/right balance, to enter locate points numerically from the keyboard, and to link individual mono files into a single stereo song. Support for importing new file formats - AAC, Apple Lossless, WMA and even MP3 – has been added as well as newly refined conversion algorithms that deliver exceptional results.
