Product Registration / Warranty

Please read the warranty disclaimer carefully, then proceed on to the form.

Samson, Hartke, Vox and Korg Canada / Limited Warranty Statement

Korg Canada warrants, to the original retail purchaser only, that this Korg product is free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and authorizes free service and/or parts exchange at authorized Korg service centres only, for a period stipulated below, beginning on the date of purchase.

Korg Products:

  • One (1) year limited warranty with D3200, D888, MR series, KLC-DE, Nano series and Wavedrum
  • Extended Two (2) year warranty on all Korg products that are registered online except for Recording products, Software products Nano series and Accessories which are covered under the standard 1 year warranty. Please refer to our retail price list for more information.
  • Two (2) year limited warranty on Korg LP350 Pianos.
  • Three (3) year limited warranty on Korg tuners and metronomes.
  • Five (5) year limited warranty on Korg Concert Pianos.

 

Vox and Hartke Products:

  • 3 Year Limited Warranty on parts and labor.
  • 1 Year limited Warranty on speaker and pedals, 180 days tubes and fuses.

Samson Products:

  • Samson Audio Products in Canada are covered by a 3 year limited warranty on parts and labor, featuring a first (1) year auto-replacement policy.
  • Samson Wireless Products in Canada are covered by a 1 year limited warranty.

Ministar Products:

  • Ministar Guitars are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as it is owned by the original retail purchaser. This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser when this instrument is purchased from an authorized Canadian Ministar dealer.

Lightsnake and StudioLogic Products:

  • Lightsnake and Studiologic products in Canada are covered by a 1 year limited warranty.
Parker Guitars:

There is a 1-year limited warranty beginning on the date of first customer purchase, on all unmodified and properly cared for Parker Guitars.  Any Parker Guitar found to be defective within the 1-year warranty period set forth above will be repaired or replaced at the option of Korg Canada provided the guitar is promptly delivered (freight and insurance prepaid) directly to Korg Canada for service.  No guitars may be returned without prior approval, please contact Korg Canada for more information.  A copy of the original sales receipt and a complete written description of the problem must accompany all guitars returned for warranty repairs.  This warranty covers the cost of labor and materials for all repairs considered necessary by our Service Technician, as well as, return shipping charges at "ground" rates.  There are no warranties, expressed or implied, other than those expressed herein.  Further, there is no warranty of merchandise or fitness for a particular purpose beyond the 1-year warranty period set forth above.  Limitation of Liability: the above warranty represents purchaser's exclusive remedy and Parker Guitars shall not be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages or expenses relating to the product sold.

The Parker Limited Warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear, Guitars serviced by unauthorized persons, Shipping damages, Guitars modified in any way, Guitars with altered serial numbers, Damage due to misuse, negligence, or accidents, Damage due to improper vibrato spring installation/setup, Guitars subjected to extreme cold, heat or humidity, Guitars purchased from an unauthorized dealer or purchased used, The playability of a guitar with the action lower than set at the factory and as specified in the users manual and Subjective issues regarding tone, wood grain or color

The above warranties are valid solely in the country where the original retail purchase was made. Service and/or replacement during the warranty period will be assumed by Korg Canada in as much as in the latter's judgement that the defects are over and above that considered to be normal wear.

This warranty does not apply on equipment that:

  1. has been rented or leased;
  2. shows abuse , misuse, neglect or damage resulting from connection to defective external equipment, improper connection to other equipment, or damage resulting from accident, fire, water or shipping;
  3. has become defective through failure to perform basic daily maintenance and/or calibration, or through failure to follow normal operating instructions described in the owner's manual;
  4. is deemed by Korg Canada not to be defective;
  5. may have been tampered with, altered or repaired by others than authorized Korg service centre personnel;
  6. has had its serial number defaced, altered or removed.

If a unit requires service, it should be sent to the nearest authorized Korg service centre, or to the seller or to Korg Canada at the owner's expense along with proof of purchase. Korg Canada will assume the return shipping charges.

There is a limited warranty period of 90 days covering mechanical switches, controls, levers, belts, springs, tapes, cassettes, cartridge, tubes, meters, bulbs, LED's, Media devices (CD Rom, CD burners, hard drives, USB and flash media) and connecting cables. There is no warranty on batteries, fuses, vinyl bags, drum heads and covers. This warranty supersedes any other expressed or implied warranty, and is the sole warranty for your purchase. No one is authorized to assume any liability on behalf of Korg Canada or to impose any obligation on it in connection with the sale of any equipment other than stated in this warranty and outlined above. Korg Canada's liability is limited to the repair or replacement of defective products, at our option. Korg Canada shall not be liable or responsible, under any circumstances, for direct, indirect or consequential damages or expenses resulting from interrupted operation or other causes (such as unauthorized disassembly, misuse or alteration).

Your completed registration should be submitted to Korg Canada within ten (10) days of the original purchase date. The purchaser must retain his/her sales slip or invoice as proof of purchase.
