Product Registration / Warranty

Please read the warranty disclaimer carefully, then proceed on to the form.

Korg Canada Limited Warranty Statement

Korg Canada warrants, to the original retail purchaser only, that a product is free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and authorizes free service and/or parts exchange at authorized Korg Canada service centres only, for a period stipulated below, beginning on the date of purchase, and to only purchases at a Korg Canada authorized dealer.  Any product purchased outside of Canada is not the responsibility of Korg Canada.

Korg Products:

  • STANDARD WARRANTY: One (1) year limited warranty for ALL products
  • Two (2) year limited warranty on Korg LP Series Pianos
  • Three (3) year limited warranty on Korg tuners and metronomes
  • There is no warranty with the MS-20-KIT and MS-20M-KIT

Lanikai and Framus Legacy Acoustic Products:

  • Warranty Time Period: The warranty provided herein lasts for the original retail purchaser’s lifetime. Exceptions: Any factory-installed electronic components, frets or tuning hardware are warranted for one (1) year only from the original date of purchase.
  • Warranty does not cover any non-factory-installed electronic components, strap pegs, or tuning hardware; damage or defects due to alteration, misuse, abuse, normal wear and tear, extremes of temperature or humidity or abnormal strain.

Vox, Hartke, Hotone, Resident Audio and Warwick Amplification Products:

  • 1 Year limited Warranty on parts and labor.
  • 180 days tubes and fuses
  • Please note that for products that have speakers that are blown due to user error, or any product showing sign of abuse, misuse, neglect or damage, these will not be covered by the warranty

Samson Wireless: 2 Years
exceptions: AH8 Transmitter – 1 Year, Rechargeable Batteries – 90 Days

Samson Audio: 2 Years
exceptions: Power Amplifiers – 3 Years, Rechargeable Batteries – 90 Days

Warwick basses:

  • Two (2) year limited warranty on parts and labor

This warranty does not apply on equipment that:

  1. has been rented or leased;
  2. shows abuse, misuse, neglect or damage resulting from connection to defective external equipment, improper connection to other equipment, or damage resulting from accident, fire, water or shipping;
  3. has become defective through failure to perform basic daily maintenance and/or calibration, or through failure to follow normal operating instructions described in the owner’s manual;
  4. is deemed by Korg Canada not to be defective;
  5. may have been tampered with, altered or repaired by others than authorized Korg service centre personnel;
  6. has had its serial number defaced, altered or removed.

If a unit requires service, it should be sent to the nearest authorized Korg service centre, or to the seller or to Korg Canada at the owner’s expense along with proof of purchase. Korg Canada will assume the return shipping charges.

There is a limited warranty period of 90 days covering mechanical switches, controls, levers, belts, springs, tapes, cassettes, cartridge, meters, bulbs, LED’s, Media devices (CD Rom, CD burners, hard drives, USB and flash media) and connecting cables. There is no warranty on batteries, keyboard cases, vinyl bags, drum heads and covers. This warranty supersedes any other expressed or implied warranty, and is the sole warranty for your purchase. No one is authorized to assume any liability on behalf of Korg Canada or to impose any obligation on it in connection with the sale of any equipment other than stated in this warranty and outlined above. Korg Canada’s liability is limited to the repair or replacement of defective products, at our option. Korg Canada shall not be liable or responsible, under any circumstances, for direct, indirect or consequential damages or expenses resulting from interrupted operation or other causes (such as unauthorized disassembly, misuse or alteration).

 

The above warranties are valid solely in the country where the original retail purchase was made. Service and/or replacement during the warranty period will be assumed by Korg Canada in as much as in the latter’s judgement that the defects are over and above that considered to be normal wear.

Your completed registration should be submitted to Korg Canada promptly, soon after the original purchase date. The purchaser must retain his/her sales slip or invoice as proof of purchase.
